My girlfriend still has a first generation white MacBook with an 80GB HDD and I want to upgrade it to a 320GB HDD.

Problem is: her MacBook doesn't support Lion, so I can just insert the HDD and perform a clean install of OS X Lion. Don't have any other OS X DVD's lying around anymore.

So ... is it possible to put everything that's on her current HDD on the new HDD without re-installing OS X? If so, please tell me how.

Thanks in advance!

Save her back up on with TD>look on google for SL then clean install>then restore from TM! Or you can go and buy a copy HDD docking! It will duplicate the original HDD into a new HDD.
