Migrating to New Mac, Move Certain Programs only?

Is there a way to move certain programs only when converting to a new Mac? Looks like Migration assistant wants to do them all. I would rather pick and chose which I would like to move.

It is all or nothing. I chose to reinstall them individually.

You'll have to do them by hand. Remember to look into the following locations in order to carry over your preferences, registration, etc ...

~/Library/Application Support
~/Library/Preferences
/Library/Application Support
/Library/Preferences.

There may also be files in other places like in "Documents" or in the 2 Libraries, depending on the programs.
