About to start the process of moving my website to a new webhosting company.
I use Mail.app Version 3.5 (930.3) for a couple of IMAP accounts on my current website, and want to transfer the accounts and all the emails to the new hosting company (same domain name, just upgrading to bigger better servers).
When Mail.app connects (after setting up the new email accounts on the new webhosting server), will it upload or sync the IMAP accounts' emails from my Macbook Pro? Or will the server rewrite over the emails in my Mail.app on my MBP?
Any ideas on the process to do this without losing emails? These accounts are business account emails, so it's not really good if I lose emails in the process.
Or, would I archive them using the Mail.app archive feature and then re-sync? Just a bit confused on this part of transferring to a new web hosting company.
Thanks!
