Hey guys,
Finally upgraded my Mac Pro 3,1 to an SSD, and I got a good enough deal to buy a 500GB drive, so I've installed a fresh copy of El Capitan already, and my plan is to split the drive in half for a Boot Camp install.
I have several older games installed under Boot Camp/Win7 that I no longer have install media for, so I'm debating between buying WinClone to migrate my existing Win7 install from the HDD to the new SSD, versus reinstalling Win7 fresh. Usually I'm a fan of the fresh install, but in this case I'm concerned about how difficult it might be to migrate previously installed apps/games to a fresh Win7 install.
Any insight, feedback or past experiences in a similar transition would be appreciated!! Thanks in advance.
