Hi guys,

I've just bought a new SSD (which is amazing btw :D), but right now Windows is still on te old HDD. I'd like to have windows on it so could I just make a new partition on my SSD and copy all the windows files (including the hidden ones) to it, or is there more to it?

Thanks in advance!

If you're migrating a Windows machine to your MBP, you might wanna use WinClone for that. Copying won't just work. They have a very detailed explanation of how to migrate a Windows machine to your MBP at their website. Their support is quite responsive too, I've tried contacting them for some issue and I got replies to my mails in less than thirty minutes.

If you're migrating from Windows to Windows, there are some free softwares that can do that. I use Macrium Reflect, but I think the free version can make a full clone as well.

GL :)
