migration assistant between DP and GM

I was wondering if its safe to migrate to my new macbook pro from a hard drive with mavericks developer preview installed (DP8), using migration assistant.
My macbook pro is running mavericks golden master though.
so what you guys think ?

I did that and had no problems at all. My Time machine backups were on the same physical drive(different partition). It moved all of data including the user profile and what not.
