I'm helping my wife get her new MBA up and running by using Migration Assistant to copy docs and settings from a Time Machine backup on an external USB 2.0 drive. The migration has taken 36 hours so far and has 9 to go. It's working, just SLOWLY.
I've used Migration Assistant and never run into such an absurdly long transfer time. I plan on letting it finish overnight, but I'm worried about the root cause problem being transferred to the new machine.
Any direction is much appreciated!
