I recently used Migration Assistant to move everything from my old MBP to a new rMBP. I have Google 2-step verification enabled for my family's Gmail accounts, and I was very surprised to discover that I did not have to authorize the new rMBP: Gmail recognized the new computer and opened without entering any authorization codes. I wonder if Migration Assistant created a clone of the old computer on the new one? Would that create any issues with sync services such as Dropbox and Cubby?
iTunes migrated to the new computer very nicely: on the new computer, iTunes now recognizes all our i-devices without a need to re-sync everything. However, it appears that iTunes on the old computer continues to sync to all iPhones and iPads (over wifi and wired connections). Since I'm planning to keep updating iTunes library only on the new computer, again, I wonder if there will be any issues or conflicts with old iTunes trying to sync with our iPhones and iPads?
I also wonder if there is a way to make the old iTunes to forget all the devices synced with it? I'm not sure if I want to do that yet ,since I always wanted to be able to to manage my iPhone from several computers, and it looks like that Migration Assistant allowed me to do just that.
