Hi guys

I just used Migration Assistant from my MacBook to iMac and selected ONLY Music and Photos.

Now that it has finished it has created a new user account on my iMac with the data that has been transferred - so I now have to log between the 2 user accounts depending on what data I want to access - RUBBISH!!!

Did I do something wrong, is this normal, how do it fix it??? I want all my data on ONE account!

Rob :(

Migration Assistant can only move data into a user account thats not being used. Generally, most users migrate once when first setting up their OS and have everything moved into one user account. Thats probably the easiest way.

At this point you could run it again and finish importing all the data into the new account. Once thats done, just delete the other account.

Thanks, just deleted the original user account and going with the new one migration assistant created. Problem solved :)
