So I'm migrating from my 2.4 UMBP to the 2.53 which I got in exchange (see post "Apple - Great Post Sales service" for details)
I hooked them up via ethernet and used the migration assistant. It appears that all of my programs got transfered, however none of my settings, or documents went. Or if they did, I can't find them.
I was kind of expecting my dock to transfer, settings, everything. Was I mistaken?
One thing I noticed was that I had to change a user account name/username since I set them up the same on both computers. Maybe I was just logged in wrong? I'm not really sure.
Any advice would be appreciated.
