Hi,
today I tried to migrate y wife’s old iPad with iOS 12.5 to a new iPad Air 4. generation. According to to Apple documentation of the migration assistant this should have worked with iOS > 12.4 or iPadOS on booth device.
Somehow the migration assistant started and I could „pair“ the devices using the camera and e.g. the WLAN password was transfered. When trying to copy the data an error was displayed, that a device with iPadOS 14 was needed.
I used the migration assistant several times in the past for iPhones, but not for iPads. What went wrong and is there something to make it work when I will migrate my own iPad Pro to the new model next year?
