Rocketing through the sky!
I upgraded my grandpa to an intel mac mini (2,26ghz) from his old G5 iMac and used migration assistant to transfer all his stuff.

Now, however, there are a lot of issues. The flash plug-in for Safari crashes every time you view a page with flash, Skype opens then crashes every time, and Firefox won't open more than a few tabs without crashing as well.

I tried deleting Skype and reinstalling to no avail. I managed to get an old version working, but then he can't use his webcam or mic to chat with it.

I would have preferred to just wipe it clean and reinstall but he has a lot of programs (Quicken, etc.) that he no longer has the discs for and all his settings and the like are the way he knows how to use them.

Any advice on what to try? I've repaired disk permissions and updated everything but still nada...
