I recently replaced my 2006 vintage iMac (Snow Leopard) with a Mac Pro (Lion). I did the Migration Assistant process and most items are fine. However my (legal) Adobe Creative Suite 4 requested I enter the ser # code. I did and it tells me its no good. I'm assuming someone got lucky and used my ser # to register a few pirated copies..Is there a file on my old iMac that I can transfer over so this suite is active again ?? (It still works fine on the old iMac).
Thanks

Aren't you supposed to deactivate your copy on the older iMac first? If I am not mistaken, Adobe's licensing policies are the most draconian of the market...

I was on the Adobe site looking at Activation info and they have an online chat with an Adobe Rep. He told me the Migration doesn't work properly..I had to manually reinstall it again. Seems to work now. Thanks
