Migration Assistant Password

Hey everyone,

I am trying to transfer my fiance's files to my mac with migration assistant. It worked successfully but now when I try to log into her user that it created it keeps saying I need to create a new password to login. When I do, the screen just shakes and tells me to retry. Anyone have any idea of a work around?

How do you create a new password? Via System Preferences > Accounts?

I tried that way as well as when I tried to log in as the new user it asked me for a new password.

That's the thing, it doesn't let me do that it just keeps shaking and saying I need to enter a new password every time I do.

Read the section called "Resetting the original administrator account password". Those are instruction on how to actually reset the password.
