Hey all,
Just transferred all my stuff from a Mini to a new iMac with Migration Assistant, and I have a bit of a problem. I had already set up two users on the imac, an administrator and a standard user. Here's the problem: the user that migrated from the Mini is also registered as an administrator. So when trying to access all the files that I moved from the Mini as the new administrator on the iMac, in particular music and pictures, I am told I do not have sufficient rights to access. My ultimate wish is to delete the Mini user and move the files to the new iMac administrator. Am I better off reinstalling Leopard and dragging that info over in target mode, or since the info is already on the iMac, can I somehow overcome these 'sufficient rights' issues to move the files around on the iMac?
Clear as mud?...
Thanks in advance!
