Migration from uMB to uMBP, re: DVD/CD Sharing

I didn't install the CD/DVD sharing application via the OS system disk from new computer onto my old computer (late 2008 MB) before doing the migration to my new MBP via ethernet cable. Is this a problem? Should I restart the transfer? Does it make any difference?

p.s. I am not an upgrade whore... my wife needed a new laptop, so she gets the late 2008 MB and get the new MBP. :D
