i have my replacement imac and my to be returned imac sitting here and i need to migrate my files via firewire...don't have enough space for time machine backup on the external.
i used the replacement for a while without migrating so there's a bunch of stuff on it i want to clean out...and then i made some kind of unsuccessful migration attempt by dragging my HD folder from the old one to the new one over the network which resulted in a big mess.
how do i wipe the replacement and restart the instal...i want to get to the screen asking if you would like to transfer files from another mac.

also, i installed Final Cut Studio to my app folder so now it's crammed. how do i uninstall FCS so i can reinstall it into a folder? with photoshop i think there was an uninstall option, but can't find that with FCS. do i delete it all manually and are there instructions somewhere?
