Good day.

I currently have a MacPro 3.1 with 5 harddrives Running Leopard server.

I have optd to upgrade to Snow Leopard Client untill i can get money up for the server version. I just want to take advantage of the 64bit for the time being.

I have a backup of my drive made with superduper ( i love this software been useing it for years)

I then loaded the Leaperd Client DVD and formatted the Main boot drive and installed fresh.

Install went fine.
When getting to the Mirgration Assistant i chouse to migrate from other volume
I let the curser spin for an hour before canceling in the migration figured i would try it from the app in the Utility folder once its done.

Install finished i rebooted and then open up the Utility folder and ran the migration assistant from there i chouse again the migrate from volume it hung again. I made sure i can see the drive i wanted to get to from finder and get around it worked fine.

So thinking ok maybe its a bug i proceeded to say ok let me do a super-duper from backup drive to a firewire drive in hopes that it would find that drive.

after hours later still no luck

At work now trying to rack my brain at what went wrong last night

Please any input would be greatly appreciated.

I know i would be lossing any server realated info.
But i was hopping to save having to resetup mail clients, installation and setup of applications etc..

Please help
