I just got my new shiny MacBook Pro, and I'm attempting to migrate from my Powerbook G4 (1.5GHz).
When I restart the powerbook in Target Disk Mode, I get the bouncy Firewire logo as I'm supposed to. However, I cannot for the life of me get the Powerbook's hard drive to mount on the MBP.
On a whim, I put my Techtools Deluxe CD into the Powerbook's CD slot...and it mounts on my MBP. But not the Powerbook Hard Drive.
Suggestions? (other than running Techtools Deluxe and/or Diskwarrior).
I'm connected via FW800. I've also tried it with FW400 - same result. I do not own DiskWarrior. Techtools is it.
