I have an old white Mackbook. I bought a new MPR. I tried to migrate from old to new. It hung up at 1 hr and 4 min. I called apple care and they made some suggestions. I tried again 3 times but it still hangs up. The last call to AppleCare told me I could now only copy the data and would have to re-install apps and everything else. Both machines are running the most recent update of mountain lion. Any suggestions on a migration work around?
