Re: Mike Ditka as Spokesman For New Impotence Drug

so I'm curious...what are (if any) the effects these drugs place on someone with a heart condition?
It's my understanding that (read: I'm no MD, but) Viagra was originally formulated to reduce high blood pressure by causing the walls of blood vessels to relax allowing greater blood flow. It was only moderately successful at this, and while it had very few side-effects, one was...well...what it's known best for now.

I think that any negative effect from these medications on those with heart conditions would probably arise from the, um, associated activity, rather than the drugs themselves.

(Oh, and the Iron Mike comment gets full points -- it was easy, but well struck!)

Uh, ditka...

He is well known but I don't like him much.

Does Viagra need more spokes-persons?

I think they need a Women Spokes Person for Viagra, just because. ;)

Meh.

It's great these spokesmen rising up and helping out men everywhere who are unable to stand up for themselves.

The little guys need all the help they can get.

From the article
"We really think we've scored a touchdown with Ditka. We were looking for a real guy who could relate to men,"

I wonder if the pun was intended.

And what's not "real" about Bob Dole?

I miss Bob Dole doing the Viagra commercials. He was even able to do the Pepsi commercial with Britney Spears and allude to Viagara. I wonder if he was able to double dip?
