I am wondering on what side do you left the magnetic clasp rest when wearing your watch?

do you let it rest outward, as in facing away from you OR, do you let it rest inward closest to you?

i suppose another way to ask would be, does the magnetic clasp rest closest your thumb OR away where others can more easily see?

I keep the magnetic clasp away from the thumb as I am constantly having to tighten the band. Starting with the S6, the extra sensors have been problematic as the passcode requests come up too frequently.

When I had it, away, because the other way it would occasionally "catch" on my clothes or the clothes of the person I'm hugging, especially clothes that aren't smooth like a sweater.

I have the strap so it is facing away from me, this is so it doesn’t catch on anything and it’s also easier to tighten as needed

Definitely AWAY. It it seems to catch less often on sleeves and cuffs this way, plus this orientation puts the loop part of the band closest to your face, making it easier to remove the band without scratching your watch case or screen. 👍🏻
