So, watching a tv show online i exploded in laughter spilling milk and cereals all over my laptop. After the initial freakout I quickly wiped it off, luckily I don't think much of it seeped through the keyboard.

I think everything is pretty much gone and aside from a few sticky keys, everything seems to work fine (posting this from it). It's been like 20 minutes; I'm just afraid it might suddenly die on me forever at some point. :( :(

I'd say that any time you deem it necessary to drink and/or eat around your electronics you are bound to have this happen. However, I think anyone who spills liquid on something electronic and proceeds to use it is asking for it.

You may be ok, you may not be, but what you should have done was turn that SOB off and left it for a while after you cleaned up your mess.

I didn't know! Should I turn it off now?

It's been like an hour but that seems to be the general procedure on the given link. Then for how long?

....Damn robot chicken. :(

If you're using it without any problems up till yet.... its pretty fine!

But for the next time: remove the battery immediately
P.S.: This is one very big reason Apple ships every Mac with FrontRow :)

Even if it's currently working, I would turn it off and make sure it's completely dried out before attempting ti use it. Would suck if it turned into a MooBook. :D

Shame on you my good sir. I just turned it off and restarted it to see if it would work and it does....fiou.

HAHAHA! I don't know why, but I laughed so hard at that! Good think I finished my coca cola eh?

I spilled soda on my keyboard once. The Z key got stuck after the soda dried up. My dad had to buy a new keyboard. But sounds like you should be fine.

P.S. I'm not eating or drinking right now. I play it safe! :)
