Hey Mac gurus,

I'm in a competition on Famecast for my hand drawn animation, Fetal at famecast:

http://famecast.com/contest/centerstage.php?stage_id=17&round_id=82

and could sure use the votes.

I actually made the animation years ago, drawn on paper with pencil and pen. Back then I was a lowly high school student who had no video editing software, so I scanned it frame by frame and made an animated gif. Crazy, huh?

Only now was I able to add audio and clean up the video. I even did the very un-web thing of buying the music rights for the soundtrack!

Anyway, if you guys appreciate nongeneric non-3d animation, I could sure use the support. People in the top 10 get industry comments, top 5 get to go to Austin, and the grand prize wins 10 grand!

Peace dudes,
Arvin

It's called Fetal: Special Edition. You can see it on Stage 11 under the name Arvin Bautista. Thanks in advance for even checkin it out!

Thanks to everyone that voted, we've now made it to the top 10 on Famecast! The next round will decide the top 5, who will then go to Austin to compete for the 10,000 dollar grand prize!

I also had to make a second submission that featured one of their sponsors, an inanimate object come to life, and a piece of dialogue "That's what she said!"... and I did it all in 5 hours!

Anyway, the link to the latest famecast contest is:

Thanks again guys, and hope to get your continued support!

Just as a last minute plea, there's two hours left of voting on Famecast, so if you guys can throw a vote my way between now and noon EST, I'd much appreciate it!

Also, just wanted to let you know that the next season of Famecast will be starting in a few weeks but you can start uploading your own indie films and videos on there to get ready! It's been a really fun contest so far and the 10,000 grand prize doesn't hurt!
