So I have been using the mindfulness app in watchOS 8 and here’re my thoughts
1. I don’t find reflect useful at all. Some audio along with the animations would have been nice
2. The new breathe animations are breathtaking, even on my antiquated AWS4. I didn’t know this watch could show such bright colours combined with such blacks.

What mare your thoughts?

How can you delete it? It's absolute bobbins and just takes up space. I'll never use it.

I don’t think you can. I like breathe and use it daily. The updated breathe app has beautiful animations. But I still couldn’t understand reflect.

I am so frustrated by the revised way in which one changes the duration of the next Breathe session. Instead of being able to spin the crown in the Breathe app in WatchOS 7, in WatchOS 8 it now takes five taps:
  1. Three dots
  2. Duration
  3. Select new duration
  4. Back button (labeled "Duration")
  5. Back button (labeled "Breathe")
Also, after a session ends, it's now necessary to scroll and press the "Done" button before starting another session.

Clearly they adapted the design from the Workout app. I don't think it's a good fit here.

I think the reflect part of the app is like meditation? I could be wrong but that's my interpretation. Next week they will be releasing guided meditation (within this app) so will be interesting to see how it all works.

That pointless POS app is still around? It was the reason why I returned my first Apple Watch many moons ago even though it would’ve been free (to me). Apple sure came up with many a stupid thing but this is the king of them all. The kingpin of annoyance and absurdity.

Don't panic it's all good. Many people like it and many more will from next week.

Why? What’s the point? I’ve made it a solid 40 years without a stupid gadget on my wrist telling me I should maybe for a change consider breathing. Like in. And then out. But only maybe. If my happy self feels like it. Happy hippie.

I wonder what the heck it is that I’ve been doing for the past 40 years then. And how the heck I made it this far… seriously, that app is the epitome of stupid. I really wish there was a way to permanently delete it as even just looking at it reminds me of how braindead it is and how much I am annoyed by its mere presence on an otherwise fairly useful piece if technology.

Oh I didn't know that guided meditation is coming. That should be interesting.

I am glad that in all your 40 years, you have never suffered from any mental illnesses. For those who have/do, mindfulness is helpful.
