Minecraft crashing on RX 5700 XT

All hardware has been confirmed to be working no problem, and on Windows, Minecraft works like normal. Is this a macOS graphics driver issue? Crash report says "Graphics hardware encountered an error and was reset: 0x00000002" after the game crashes.

MacBook Pro Late 2013 w/Sonnet Breakaway and Yeston RX 5700 XT 8 GB. Running macOS 11.1.
