Hi!

I play Minecraft on my late 2012 iMac 27", top of the line, with everything upgraded. The game runs fine, but sometimes the fps get bad, especially when there's a lot of people.

When no one's there I get around 100 fps.
When there's a lot, to dumps down to around 30 fps.

With these specs, i expected at least a million fps. :p
Is it just the game, or am I doing something wrong?

All setting are on highest available btw. :)

Thanks in advance,

This may be related to how OS X handles v sync. I've noticed in many games if it drops below 60 it'll clamp the frame rates at 30.

There was a blue post from Blizzard about this in regard to World of Warcraft.

Hopefully the gaming capabilities of OS X gets more love!
