I can't keep both the tekkit launcher and safari open both at once, if i try to switch between both to look something up for example my computer goes crazy and the fps drops to almost 0 or safari crashes..

My guess is this is a java problem, is there any way around this?

I run os x 10.6.8 on a mbp ppc 2008 2.26 Ghz intel with 2gb ram

Hello, you're in the wrong place. The MacBook Pro from 2008 is an Intel computer. This is a PowerPC board.

3 things:
1) Why on earth do you play tekkit? it sucks!! try FTB.
2) Why do you think your mac has ANYTHING to do with PowerPC?
3) Shove some more RAM in it, that measly 2GB is whats holding it back. ;)

hehe nice guys, rub it in :D

I used to have a PowerPc that died on me and now i have an intel 2008 model, i always confuse the two
