I and my g/f have unlimited Verizon lines so we tether to my son's iPad Mini 3. 8.1 was bad enough, so when I heard there were wifi fixes in 8.1.1 I went ahead and updated through iTunes. The first time I did it I got the 3004 error and soft bricked. So I went ahead and luckily already had the ISPW d/l'd and did the complete clean install of 8.1.1.
Much to my surprise, downloading even the smallest of apps is still unbearably slow. I've tried wiping the iPad, resetting network settings, turned off bluetooth, turned off all the wifi settings for networking, etc. Nothing has fixed it.
It seems to stream from Youtube, Netflix, and Amazon...okay, but you can tell it's still not allowing for much data to be pulled down.
About ready to JB this thing and try out wifried b/c it is stupid and frustrating beyond belief at this point. Anyone else still having these wifi issues?
