Give that Apple claim Mini Display Port is industry standard - when can we expect people like Belkin to start producing VGA, DVI and DL-DVI adaptors for the new MB's, MBP's and MBA's.

£1150 is a lot for a new MB or more for an MBP (prices have jumped here in the UK now the £/$ has dropped) - but I'm just about prepared to swallow that. Just.

What I'm not prepared to pay out for is a further £20 to plug them into a VGA cable for a projector, or £70 for DL-DVI (and why does the DL-DVI also have a USB cable on it?) to hook up to my 30" display.

So - will we see compatable adaptors made by people like Belkin etc, or is Apple lying when it claims this port is 'industry standard'
