I have the 2011 Macbook Pro i5, 13 inch... And I have a 40 inch, 1080p, Samsung hd... And I want to watch HD movies and other stuff on the tv... So I'm looking for an hdmi adapter with sound for my new Macbook Pro... Which adpater do I need to buy to get that? Also, I would prefer if it's cheap, too.. Thanks...

I got moshi mini display port to hdmi with audio

it came out to $29.27 on amazon. Has been working fine so far, absolutely no problems. Didnt wanna risk getting the cheaper ones,
it really made me wonder why they were cheaper :p

Perfect for the new MacBook Pro's. Good for Audio and Video.

I've got the Moshi and it works great, but if the one from MonoPrice works just fine, I would definitely buy it there. Price just can't be beat.

i bought the moshi from applestore here in aus=50$ =aaaarrrr, but works very well, looks very well made, insulated with aluminium, and ports the sound as well, the picture quality is fantastic,no glitching or stuttering, its made of aluminium brushed, and it seems to be about the best quality ive seen, but it haint cheap although,
id recommend it anytime.ps,sound is only capable on most recent macbook pros i think,
