I am using a macbook (white) and hook it up to my 32inch samsung about everyother day using a minidisplay to DVI adapter and then a DVI to HDMI cord. Yesterday i plugged it up and everthing ran smooth. Today however i plugged it up and to my suprise it didnt connect like it was supposed to. Could it be the adapter or the display port itself? Because my apple car just ran out and i rely heavily on the use to plug up my computer. Should i just turn off my computer let it sit like that for awhile and then try again tom and see if it works. I hope i didnt blow out the port! Thanks

That would be a mini-DVI port there. The white MB doesn't have a mini displayport. I use a mini dvi to VGA on my 42" plasma. I plug it in about once a week. Every once in a while it has acted weird. I think it fixed itself. Don't worry. Restart your MB if you have to.
