hey guys!
So I purchased a new MBP 13" with the thunderbolt/minidisplay port. I had to buy a new adapter since I was using the first gen macbook with the larger port before.
I tried two monitors one is 1080p, the other is a 1680x1050. For some reason nether monitor will go to full resolution without being cut off on the screen. About 30% of the actually monitor is black and the rest is the content. I am not sure why that is.
I tried bumping down the resolution and on both monitors it will fill up the screen, but ofcourse everything looks stretched off.
Is it because my mini display port is mini to vga? Was I suppose to purchase the DVI one?
I am not trying to connect my mbp to a tv, I am just doing a regular monitor. I havent had this prob on my original macbook but now I seem to have it.
Thanks guys!
