I have a 15" unibody Macbook Pro, and just purchased a 22" Dell Ultrasharp Monitor- 2209WA.
I obviously am going to have to get a Mini Displayport adapter, but which one is better?
VGA?
DVI?
Am I going to have any problems with this setup? I've read of people's external displays not working well with the MBP.
What should I expect?
Thanks.

P.S. I searched but did not find an exact conclusive answer.

Definatly DVI. I have the VGA adapter just because I run into a lot of projectors that dont have DVI in-puts on them. It's not worth buying at this time for me because I still have to up grade my Monitors here at home. Needless to say that I plan on buying the 24" Apple Display in the near future and I wont need that adapter for it at all.

With all that aside, its probably a good thing if you eventually got both just in case you do run into a situation where you need one over the other. Mini Display port adapters are not that easy to get ahold of on a moments notice. Keep hoping that Best Buy will eventually carry them in stock at there stores.....
