Mini display Port

Hi All,

Got a quick (and probably stupid) question. When using the mini display port, do you need to power down the machine to plug it in and un plug it? I assume unplugging it on the fly doesn't mess things up oer the long term. Sorry kind f use to doing things on a windows where sometimes you have shut down the machine to do things.

Nope, it's totally hot swappable.
