Hi at all, I buy a mini displayport dvi-i (that pass digital and analog signal), I connect the adaptor to my via lcd but not work....where is the problem for you??

AFAIK there are no mini display port to dvi-i only dvi-d, you could get a cheap mini display port to vga from monoprice.

But are they truly DVI-I or just the physical connector?

now I have this doubt...but the vendor describe this adaptor like dvi-i.
However now I try to change it in a mini displayport vga...
