Hi,

Just as i thought everything was good after apple enabled sound over Mini DisplayPort it seems that all the cables that can support sound + video from mini displayport to hdmi dont support new macs:

http://www.monoprice.com/products/p...=10428&cs_id=1042802&p_id=5311&seq=1&format=2

and

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Apple-Displ...1T39SA8AUFT6J&s=generic&qid=1271878061&sr=1-2

Does anone know of a cable other than the ones that use the usb port to get audio that does work with the new mini displayport + audio.

Cheers

Neither of those will support audio on the new MBP's, I'd suggest to wait a few weeks for someone to find one that works. I have the monoprice cable and I have confirmed it does not work.

Griffin's displayport to DVI/HDMI cable has been confirmed to work with video and audio when using HDMI.
