So I just got this adapter in the mail today:

Despite its description, I hooked it up to my receiver and it does NOT pass audio through. I've been hunting around and all I've found so far is one Youtube video of a guy with an adapter that worked (in the sound section of the system preferences, it shows another option for output that I didn't have), but not what adapter it was.
Is there anyone with a new MBP that has a Mini-Displayport to HDMI adapter they have verified to pass audio through?
