Mini DisplayPort to HDMI adapter

So I use this adapter quite regularly to stream TV/movies on my HDTV and I'm pretty sure it's biting the dust. I can't tell if it's the HDMI cord, my port, or the adapter, but I'm pretty positive it's the adapter.

That said, what's my best bet for this adapter? I've had the Rocketfish RF-AP305 for the past few years and that's the one that bit the dust. Any other recommendations or suggestions?

Buy a minidisplayport to hdmi cable from monoprice or amazon. $10 or so give or take.

Yeah I ended up getting one like this on Amazon. Figured there'd be less things to worry about failing with the adapter combo. Thanks yall.
