Mini Displayport to HDMI

Hey guys....looking for an adapter I can plug into my Thunderbolt port that I can convert into an HDMI connection. What I want to do is run an HDMI cable from my Plasma to my Macbook Pro (Early 2011 Model) and use the Macbook Pro to play movies on. Am I looking at the right cable/adapter?

Also, I know the video will work, but will the Macbook Pro send the audio to the TV? Would like to use the TV for sound and not the Macbook Pro. Wasn't sure if this was possible yet, or if I need an audio out to the TV.

Yeah, that's it. And it will send the audio with the video to the TV like you want.

Video and audio will work with that adapter, as it states that in its specifications.

Mini DisplayPort (MDP)

Mini DisplayPort is the current digital standard on all current Macs to transfer video to an external display or TV. It has been introduced in 10/2008 with the release of the Unibody MacBook and MacBook Pros and has gradually been adopted on all other Macs.
MDP is capable of transmitting video, and since 2010, audio too. MDP is a miniaturised version of DisplayPort. It is also license free and can support resolutions of up to 2560 x 1600, which Mini DVI and Micro DVI are not able to do.

Thanks guys. I just wasn't sure if the port from the Mac was able to send the audio to the TV to play. Will order this tomorrow to stream movies. Thank you gents.
