mini displayport to hdmi

Hi all,
I am looking for a cable to let me connect my macbook to my HD TV. It only has a mini displayport and I want to turn it into HDMI. I can find plenty of mini displayport to HDMI cables that only support DP 1.1a or HDMI 1.3 but I really want mini displayport 1.2 and HDMI 1.4 so that I will be able to watch 3D movie files from my computer on my TV. Does anyone know where I can find cables like this?

Also, I am just assuming I have mini displayport 1.2 because it is a newer macbook, how can I find out to be sure?
