Hi all,

Little help please. I've got a MacBook and I'm trying to hook it up to my TV, S-Video.

I've purchased a Mini Displayport > VGA adaptor and VGA > S-Video adaptor. The s-video can then go to scart or directly into the TV.

But it doesn't work! In theory it should right? I've tried different components no luck, and the port works as I use DVI out for my external monitor. The tv screen remains black, and in system preferences > displays it doesn't show so I don't think the computer is recognising it.

Thanks in advance for any and all help,

Alex

What VGA to S-video are you using? If I recall correctly, you need a converter box, not just a simple cable
