Mini DVD's in 24" iMac

Can I read mini DVD's in the new 24" iMac DVD/CD drive? I would rather ask than get something stuck....

No. Only the original Titanium PowerBook G4 could read them. Spend $20 on an external DVD drive to use them.

I remember hearing that Apple had filed patent for an adapter.

They did patent an adapter. What they need to do is just use the same technology that the Wii uses to us multiple size media.
