Mini DVI to DVI Adapter?

I know apple has one thats $30 but wanted to quickly check to see if theres anything else worth using thats much cheaper. I see monoprice has themf ro about $5 over at amazon but do these work as good?

I have not used that brand but every time I have used a third party adapter it died within a couple of uses. My original Apple adapters are still going strong.

I can't say for sure with regard to DVI/Mini DVI, but everything I've ever bought from Monoprice has worked just fine.
