Mini DVI to Mini DisplayPort adapter?

Hi there,

(disclaimer: you're about to see the word "mini" WAY too many times)

I have a Mac Mini 2009. It has the Mini-DVI and Mini-DisplayPort connectors.

I would like to plug 2x 24" Apple LED displays in to it. My current 24" Samsung is starting to flicker and even has a hum to it on start now. So I'm looking at switching over to ACDs. It would be really nice if they did a 27" model, but I digress and I'd probably still have the same cable issue. Apple should have just done two Mini-DisplayPort connectors and gotten it over with.

Anyway, as far as I can tell, I'll only be able to attach one of them until a suitable converter is released. Has anybody seen such a converter? I would appreciate some direction, and any feedback on how it works.

Any thoughts?

Atlona has an DVI/HDMI->mini displayport. $180.

Great googily moogily. I could nearly buy a 2nd Mac Mini and duct tape it to my first one for that much.

I ordered a DP-200 and I'm hoping that it works with an 2.66 mini dvi iMac driving a 27" iMac i7 as a second display. I should have read the return policy info at atlona's site.
