mini DVI to VGA to scart for old TV..

I have a macbook 10.4.11 and would like to watch movies on my old widescreen tv.

Is this what I need?

Then,

VGA to SCART

I want to be sure before I purchase, it seems to be a tricky area.

I wouldn't buy that VGA to SCART cable, especially with the nice reviews.
