I have a HP LP2065 monitor here. I want to connect it to my macbook. I've tried using the Mini-DVI to VGA adapter, and then using a VGA to DVI-A cable that is with the monitor. The Macbook recognizes the monitor, but the monitor doesn't think it has a signal. I've tried this monitor on an Thinkpad's VGA Out, and on a Macbook Pro with a DVI-VGA adapter, and it worked on both. My question is, to replace the adapter and cable, would a Mini-DVI to DVI adapter, and a regular DVI cable, work?
