Does anyone know if this device http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore?productLearnMore=M9319G/A
Has an D to A converter or it's just a plug? Does the mini DVI socket have an NTSC signal out on one of the pins?
I'm trying to use it for a project that requires downconversion from DVI-D to NTSC composite. The project does not include a mac computer. Is there a pinout of the mini dvi out of mac available anywhere ? Internet or otherwise.
Thank you for help!!!!

I'm not quit sure I understand your question. That device is to send video from your mini-DVI port to a TV through S-Video or Composite video. If you want DVI, you need a Mini DVI to DVI Adapter --> http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore.woa/wa/RSLID?mco=839FACEB&fnode=home/shop_mac/mac_accessories/cables&nplm=M9321G/B

problems with hpf2105

I have a macbook 13.3 and have just purchased a hpf2105 monitor. I hook it up via the mini dvi to dvi connector, but all that comes through is my
desktop picture. The mouse appears also, although nothing to click on.
Any ideas Thanks,

It's probably set up as a second monitor. Go into your display preferences and to Arrangement and make sure "Mirror Displays" is checked in.
