Mini Dvi - Video - flickering?

Hi all, just recently bought a mini dvi to video adapter for the mac.

The sound is great, but the video has a faded black line running through the TV, and occasionally flickers, and distorts.

How would I go about solving this? Thanks..

Also, It only happens with one of the TV's in our house..
