Twice since I upgraded my Core Duo Mini to 10.4.8 I have left it alone for a couple hours and when I come back it is completely frozen. I have had to hold the power button down to shut it off. Nothing was running when it happened. It just froze. No kernel panic or anything like that, it just stopped responding. Has anybody else had this problem?

Repair permissions, verify HD, etc. You should know the drill by now :D

What sort of third party hardware do you have connected/installed (including RAM) and what third party apps are running? :)

I don't have any third party hardware and no software running when it freezes.

Does the mouse cursor move while the computer is frozen?

In my experience, certain types of stalled network activity can cause the Finder to appear frozen, but of course the mouse cursor is still functional.

Have you tried running Apple Hardware Test?

I repaired permissions and then let the computer sit overnight. When I came back it was fine so hopefully that took care of it. I don't have it hooked up to a network and I have plenty of hard drive space (about 60gb).
